Fujitsu is a leading provider of IT Outsource services to corporations in both the private and public sectors.

Two assignments were completed on behalf of Fujitsu – both operating as an Interim Commercial Manager/Director on behalf of Fujitsu and facing into Fujitsu’s clients (Royal Bank of Scotland and Scottish Water).

In both assignments the task was to fill a gap in the localised commercial resources available to Fujitsu, assist in identifying/recruiting a permanent commercial manager, and training that replacement when hired.

  • The first assignment was with Scottish Water account team which assignment was extended on multiple occasions ending some 18 months after completion. This assignment included:
    • Contract Management
    • Relationship Management
    • Bid Support and Contracting of new business
    • Problem Resolution
    • Mentoring the recently formed Fujitsu Account Team
    • Recruiting Programme Management and Project Management Skills
    • Operating as part of the Local Account Management Team
    • Working with Bid Teams to create new Pricing Methodology
    • Assistance in recruiting and training a permanent Commercial Manager
  • The second assignment was with The Royal bank of Scotland account team which assignment lasted c.6 months. This assignment included:
    • Contract Management with emphasis on:
      • EMEA, and
      • Special Projects
    • Relationship Management
    • Bid Support and Contracting of new business
    • Assistance in recruiting and training a permanent Commercial Manager
